The flow of the 2025-26 harvest through the Northern Arc has been boosted by over BRL 400 million in investments on BR-364 in Rondônia. According to Embrapa, the corridor connects Vilhena to the Porto Velho terminals and is expected to move around 6.5 million tons of grain by May. The route is managed by Nova 364 and has undergone structural improvements, including pavement rehabilitation and the installation of 24-hour operational bases. The upgrades aim to reduce logistics costs on this strategic route, where poor maintenance currently inflates freight by 38.1%.
