In 2025, Petrobras reached record oil and gas production of nearly 3 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, driven by expanding pre-salt output and new platforms. Pre-salt fields accounted for 82% of Q4 production, with the Búzios field surpassing 1 million barrels per day. Despite maintenance in the Campos Basin, output was supported by new capacity in the Santos Basin. The company also achieved its best reserve replacement in a decade and record exports averaging 765,000 barrels daily, mainly to China, with rising shipments to India. Gains were attributed to operational efficiency, logistics improvements and diversified markets.
