BRAZIL FERTILIZER DELIVERIES RISE 7.8% TO 45.27 MILLION TONNES

Fertilizer deliveries to Brazil reached 4.33 million tonnes in November 2025, up 2.6% year on year, while cumulative deliveries from January to November totaled 45.27 million tonnes, an increase of 7.8%, according to ANDA. Mato Grosso remained the largest consumer, accounting for nearly 23% of national demand. Domestic production of intermediate fertilizers fell 11.8% in November but rose 4.1% in the year-to-date period. Imports declined in November to 3.85 million tonnes but grew 4.8% over the first eleven months of 2025. The Port of Paranaguá strengthened its position as Brazil’s main fertilizer gateway, handling 9.95 million tonnes in imports in 2025, up 6.4% from the previous year and representing about a quarter of total fertilizer imports through Brazilian ports.
