Brazilian exports to the European Union increased 3.2% in 2025, reaching US$ 49.810 billion, up from US$ 48.276 billion in 2024. Imports from the bloc grew at a faster pace, rising 6.4% last year to US$ 50.290 billion, compared with US$ 47.260 billion in 2024. As a result, Brazil posted a trade deficit of US$ 480 million with the European bloc in 2025. In December alone, Brazilian imports of European products jumped 39.0%, totaling US$ 4.288 billion, up from US$ 3.083 billion in December 2024. Imports from the European Union also rose in December, increasing 9.7% year on year to US$ 4.013 billion, compared with US$ 3.658 billion in the same month of 2024.
