Soybean handling at the Port of Santana, operated by Companhia Docas de Santana (CDSA), recorded strong growth in 2025. Considering all operations, volumes increased by 64.2% compared to 2024, encompassing both long-haul shipping with oceangoing vessels and inland navigation with barges. The Port of Santana received 553,000 tonnes of soybeans, a 66.8% increase from the previous year. The results reflect the expansion of the port’s operational capacity and the efficiency of its logistics processes, combined with the growing prominence of ports in the Amazon region in the flow of Brazilian agricultural production.
