SAAM TOWAGE CERTIFIES CARBON-NEUTRAL OPERATIONS IN BRAZIL

For the third consecutive year, SAAM Towage has obtained the international PAS 2060 certification in Brazil, which recognizes the carbon neutrality of its operations in the country. In addition to implementing operational actions that reduced the intensity of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, the company purchased carbon credits to offset 100% of these emissions. “This certification recognizes SAAM’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Achieving this milestone once again demonstrates the consistent alignment of our company’s practices with the highest environmental and climate standards,” said Juliana Soares, Sustainability Coordinator for Brazil.
