BRAZIL SHIPS 68% OF DECEMBER/24 CORN IN JUST 10 DAYS

Brazilian corn exports for December are outperforming the same period last year. According to Secex, the country has already shipped 2.91 million tons of corn so far this month, representing 68% of the total 4.27 million tons exported in all of December 2024. The daily average shipment volume across the first 10 business days reached 290,877 tons, a 43.2% increase compared to last year’s daily average of 203,137 tons. Revenue has also surged, with USD 628.8 million earned so far, compared to USD 913.3 million for the entire month last year. This translates to a 44.6% rise in the daily average revenue, from USD 43.49 million to USD 62.88 million per business day.
