Brazil’s 2025/26 grain harvest is projected by Conab to reach a record 354.8 million tons, with planted area up 3.3% to 84.4 million hectares. In Rondônia, production should total 5.4 million tons, largely stable year over year, with slight area expansion. Soybeans remain the state’s main crop, estimated at 2.6 million tons, while rice output is set to fall 7.2% due to low prices. Embrapa analysts note a trend toward production stabilization amid rising costs and higher land prices in central and northern regions. Coffee stands out with a 10.4% increase, reaching 2.3 million bags and the country’s highest productivity. Cassava area and output are expected to drop, while banana productivity should jump 25.8%. Rondônia’s 2025 agricultural GDP is estimated at R$30.1 billion, driven mainly by cattle, soybeans, coffee, corn, and milk, with exports of beef, soy, and corn nearing US$2.5 billion in 2025.
