Governor Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior approved a BRL 35.7 million agreement to concrete 15 streets (totaling six kilometers) near the Port of Paranaguá. Funded by Portos do Paraná and local businesses, the project aims to improve urban mobility and port logistics by replacing cobblestones with more durable, low-maintenance concrete. The initiative is part of the state’s port and road upgrade strategy, complementing the Moegão project. Bidding is expected in the coming weeks. During the same ceremony, the governor also distributed 212 rural property titles and BRL 26 million in machinery to coastal towns.
