The Port Authority of Santos (APS) has partnered with the Technological Innovation Park of São José dos Campos to create the Center for Technological Development in Port Management (CdtPort). This new center will be based at the APS and is expected to become operational within a 60-month timeframe. The initiative aims to develop digital tools for monitoring trucks, coordinating operations, and integrating logistics, drawing inspiration from models used in ports like Rotterdam and Singapore. APS is investing BRL 4.2 million in a two-year innovation acceleration program without PIT funding. The partnership connects startups, academic institutions, and enterprises, strengthening the Port Innovation Hub, signed on September 22 by the Minister of Ports and Airports. Port of Santos leads Latin America with 5% annual growth.
