SOYBEAN PLANTING FOR THE 2025/26 HARVEST BEGINS IN WESTERN PARANÁ

Soybean planting for the 2025/26 harvest has officially begun in Western Paraná, with authorization granted on September 1 and around 4,900 hectares already sown — 1% of the 492,000 hectares planned for the Toledo region, according to Seab and Deral. Experts stress that profitability depends on careful planning, starting with soil analysis to check nutrients, pH (ideally 6.0–7.0), compaction, and biological health. Copagril supports producers with its Smart Agriculture program, providing detailed soil diagnostics for better decisions. Choosing the right cultivar, considering cycle, productivity, and regional adaptation, is also critical, as is aligning sowing with favorable weather to avoid risks from low temperatures that may hinder germination. Copagril technician Lucas Dantas emphasized that each decision made now will directly impact future productivity and profitability.
