Brazilian ethanol exports rose 31.4% in July 2025 year-over-year to 172.68 million liters, also up 31.9% from June, despite falling average prices (US$532.01/m³, down 4.9% monthly and 5% annually). Revenue reached US$91.86 million, up 24.8% from July 2024. Key buyers included South Korea, the U.S., India, the Netherlands, and Cameroon. The U.S. announced a 50% tariff on Brazilian imports, potentially adding US$90.9 million in annual costs, but analysts expect redirection to other markets.
