BRAZIL’S TRADE BALANCE GROWS 6.6% IN JULY ON RISING EXPORTS AND IMPORTS

Brazil’s foreign trade showed strong performance in July 2025, closing the fourth week with a US$1.3 billion surplus and a monthly surplus of US$4.8 billion. Exports totaled US$26.2 billion, and imports reached US$21.4 billion, bringing the month’s total trade flow to US$47.7 billion. From January to July, the trade flow surpassed US$349 billion, with a US$34.9 billion surplus. Compared to 2024, the daily average trade grew by 6.6%, with exports up 3% and imports up 11.5%. Manufacturing led export growth (+8.1%), while imports also rose significantly in this sector (+13.7%), signaling continued momentum in Brazil’s trade activity.
