The Port of Açu, a strategic energy hub handling half of Brazil’s natural gas imports, has drawn over BRL 60 billion in private investments to date and supports more than 30,000 indirect jobs. In a related development, regulators have approved an additional BRL 275.3 million investment for the port’s Maritime Fuel Terminal (Tecma).
