BRAZIL’S TRADE FLOW REACHES USD 285.2 BILLION FROM JANUARY TO 3RD WEEK OF JUNE

In the third week of June 2025, Brazil’s trade balance showed a surplus of USD 1.1 billion, with exports at USD 5.52 billion and imports at USD 4.4 billion, totaling a trade flow of USD 9.9 billion. So far in June, the surplus reached USD 4.2 billion. Between January and mid-June, the country recorded USD 156.9 billion in exports and USD 128.32 billion in imports, generating a USD 28.6 billion surplus. Compared to June 2024, daily average exports slightly declined by 0.6%, while imports rose 0.9%. Sector-wise, exports of manufactured goods rose by 7.5%, while agribusiness and extractive industry exports dropped. On the import side, manufactured goods increased, but agribusiness and extractive industry imports decreased. Data were released by the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex/MDIC).
