Bahia concluded the 2024/2025 soybean harvest with a record production of 8.7 million tons over 2.1 million hectares, reaching an average productivity of 68 bags per hectare—the state’s best in 30 years. The result reflects strong technical management, sustainable practices like the Direct Planting System, expanded irrigation, and the success of Aiba’s Phytosanitary Program. Corn harvest is also progressing rapidly, with 105,000 hectares planted and an estimated yield of 1.17 million tons at 187 bags per hectare. These achievements highlight Bahia’s technological advancement, climate adaptation, and commitment to sustainable agribusiness.
