BRAZIL CONCLUDES TEN FRESH TRADE DEALS TO BOOST AGRICULTURAL EXPORTS

Brazil has signed 10 new agricultural export deals with the Bahamas, Cameroon, South Korea, Costa Rica, Japan, and Peru, expanding trade in cattle, pork, poultry, genetic materials, fish oil, and corn ethanol byproducts. The Bahamas approved Brazilian meat products, recognizing the country’s sanitary standards. Cameroon opened its market for live cattle and bovine genetics, while South Korea authorized imports of fertile eggs and chicks, strengthening Brazil’s poultry genetics sector. Costa Rica will import corn ethanol byproducts (DDG/DDGS), and Peru approved Brazilian tilapia fillets. Japan, meanwhile, will import Brazilian fish oil. Since 2023, Brazilian agribusiness has entered 381 new markets, reinforcing global confidence in its sanitary controls and production quality.
