BAHIA SETS SOYBEAN YIELD RECORD AT 68 BAGS/HA IN 2024-2025 HARVEST

According to Aiba, the soybean harvest for the 2024-25 season in Bahia ended with a record output of 68 bags per hectare across an area of 2.135 million hectares, totaling 8.71 million tons. The schedule has advanced due to ideal weather conditions at the start of sowing, which ensured increased crop consistency. Despite obstacles in the latter stages, the results held firm and showed good performance. With the harvest now complete, focus shifts to post-harvest management, including controlling volunteer soybean plants, as well as the beginning of second-crop harvests, featuring sorghum, beans, and millet.
