The U.S. has approved the export of dried clove flowers, yerba mate, alfalfa hay, and timothy hay from Brazil without requiring phytosanitary certification, reflecting the global trust in Brazil’s agricultural standards. This move enhances Brazilian agricultural exports to the U.S., which already include beef, coffee, and orange juice. In 2025, Brazilian agribusiness achieved seven new market openings, totaling 307 new opportunities since 2023. These advancements result from joint efforts by Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to diversify trade and strengthen international partnerships, further boosting the country’s agribusiness competitiveness.
