Sugar output climbed by 9.95% in the second half of August compared to the previous cycle, hitting 3.46 million tons. Since April 1st, overall sugar output has increased by 20.03% to 26.15 million tons. The Center-South units produced 2.31 billion liters of ethanol in the second half of August, with hydrous ethanol growing by 8.13% and anhydrous ethanol declining by 6.08%. Until September 1st, ethanol output was 19.10 billion liters, representing a 6.26% increase over the previous year. The major driver was an increase in corn ethanol output of 46.28% over the same time previous year.
