SUGAR: LINE-UP POINTS TO 3.776 MILLION TONS IN SHIPMENTS

The total number of ships waiting to load at Brazilian ports was 97 in the week that ended on November 9, compared to 91 in the previous week. About 3.776 million tons of sugar were scheduled to be shipped, compared to 3.439 million last week. Most of the amount (2.528 million tons) will depart from the Port of Santos (SP); also from the port of Paranaguá, in the state of Paraná (975,658 tons), Maceió, in the state of Alagoas (120,873 tons), Recife (94,000 tons), Suape, (47,500 tons), and São Sebastião (10,000 tons). The main variety consists of VHP sugar variety (3,480,715 tons), Crystal sugar B150 (89,050 tons), white sugar A-45 (136,500 tons), VHP sugar in bags (35,000 tons), and TBI (35,000 tons).
