Brazil’s Supply Company (Conab) will host a crystal sugar auction to purchase 12.2 thousand tons of the commodity. According to notice number 98/2023, the auction is held in response to the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, Family, and Fight Against Hunger (MDS) and is part of ADA Work Plan No. 02/2023. The auction will be held online on October 27 at 9 a.m., Brazil time, utilizing Conab’s Electronic Trading System, which will include the integration of Cereal, Commodities, and Futures Exchanges. For product examination purposes, the crystal sugar being auctioned must be packed in either 1 or 2 kg transparent and colorless containers.
