The port of São Sebastião achieved a historic milestone by exporting VHP sugar in bulk for the first time, marking a significant shift from bagged to bulk handling. CEO Ernesto Sampaio celebrates the milestone, highlighting the port’s previous focus on importing bulk cargoes. In 2023, the port set a new record for cargo throughput, reaching over 1 million tonnes, with a revenue increase of 51%.
