São Paulo’s 2021/2022 grain harvest is expected to reach 10.25 million tons, up 18.55% from last harvest (8.65 million tons). The planted area accounts for 2.48 million hectares, up 3.44% from the 2020/21 season. The average productivity is expected to reach 4,131 kilos per hectare, a growth of 14.61%. The first corn crop was revised upwards at 85.4 thousand tons, with an output estimated at 1.99 million tons (up 8.39% from the previous crop). With these results, total corn output in São Paulo is forecast at 4.33 million tons, up 32.38% from last cycle.
