RABOBANK RAISES BRAZIL’S SOYBEAN CROP FORECAST TO RECORD 177 MILLION TONS

Rabobank has raised its forecast for Brazil’s 2025/26 soybean crop to a record 177 million tons, up 3% from the previous season and higher than the 175 million estimated in September. The revision reflects an increase in planted area, now projected at 48.8 million hectares, a 2% annual rise slightly above the previous 1.5% estimate. Despite the positive adjustment, growth remains below the historical average as farmers face tighter profit margins amid record harvests. Brazil continues to be the world’s largest soybean producer and exporter.
