Ports of Paraná will take part in the United Nations-convened COP27 climate conference. The public company from Paraná is, once again, the only port authority in the world invited to give a talk at the event. Paraná stands out because of sustainable development, which links environmental protection with the growing cargo handling in foreign trade. “It is an honor to present the work we have done since 2019. It shows that we are on the right path and reinforces our position as a global reference in the area”, said João Paulo Santana, director of Environment at the company. The Program for the Recovery of Degraded Areas will be highlighted. It was carried out in the municipality of Antonina. With the support of rural producers, there are more than 60 thousand seedlings of native species planted in the region.
