With the consolidated data for the month of November, the Ports of Paraná confirmed the record of 53,561,238 tons handled in the 11 months of 2020. The volume is 9% higher than that achieved in the same period of 2019 and 0.36% higher than the recorded throughout last year. In the accumulated result for the year, 58% of the operations were directed towards exports. There were 34.45 million tons of products shipped from Brazil to the world, via the ports of Paranaguá and Antonina. The highlight of the period was soybeans, with 14.26 million tons exported, 36% higher than the 10.5 million tons exported from January to November 2019. In bran, 5.42 million tons of oilseed were exported, an increase of 13% compared to the same period of 2019 (4.79 million). Sugar exports grew 79% in the comparison of the 11 months of 2019 and 2020. Compared to the 12 months of 2019, the volume of sugar exported this year is already 65% higher.
