ETHANOL PLANT IN PARA WILL START PRODUCING CORN BIOFUEL IN 2024

Pagrisa, a local company in the state of Pará, is teaming up with North American company Lucas E3 to produce corn ethanol. The Ulianópolis (PA) unit will be modified to process grain, and the flex plant project is expected to begin production in stages starting in 2024. Pagrisa’s executive director, Marcos Zancaner, is committed to making the unit a reference for low-carbon products in the North region.
