The Brazilian Institute of Petroleum and Natural Gas (IBP) has revised upward its forecast for S10 A (pure) diesel production in Brazil for September and October. The new production volumes represent increases of 1.27% for September and 8.8% for October when compared to the last forecast. Brazil is expected to produce 1.988 billion liters of diesel in September, compared to 1.963 billion in the previous publication, and 2.094 billion in October compared to 1.925 billion in the previous bulletin. Imports were forecast to drop from 1.444 billion liters to 1.397 billion liters in September and from 1.465 billion liters to 1.263 billion liters in October.
