In February 2025, Brazil’s port cargo movement reached 97 million tons, with corn showing the highest growth rate at 41.5%, totaling 1.2 million tons. Bauxite and fertilizers also grew, by 13.09% and 13.05%, respectively. Containerized cargo reached 12.4 million tons (+9.26%) and general cargo 5.1 million (+6.54%), while solid and liquid bulk cargo declined. Inland navigation rose 4.92%, while cabotage dropped 8.18%. Public ports moved 35.5 million tons (-0.48%), with Fortaleza Port standing out with a 55.8% increase.
