BROTO RELEASES GROUNDBREAKING 2025 SURVEY ON RURAL PRODUCERS’ EXPECTATIONS

Banco do Brasil’s Broto platform’s “Rural Producer Expectations for 2025” study found producers are more connected, demanding, and market-aware. The survey of 105 thousand producers found that 51% want to invest in inputs, 41% in machinery, and 20% in technology during the next six months. Product quality (91.67%) and technical support (78.99%) are more essential than pricing (66.67%) when choosing a supplier. Even though 74% prefer physical establishments, marketplaces are gaining popularity as research channels (43%). Small-scale livestock and soybean growers dominate. Credit constraints (37%) and high operational costs (33%) are the biggest hurdles. The survey demonstrates a movement in agriculture toward legacy and innovation, modernization and long-term growth, and a greater respect for partnership, assistance, and funding.
