Banco do Brasil has reached a cost milestone of BRL 100 billion in the 2023-2024 season, beating the previous one by 8%. Since January, the bank has granted BRL 175 billion in rural credit, representing an 11% increase over the same period in 2022. This accomplishment is the consequence of BB’s dedication to the agriculture production sector, which includes small farmers, cooperatives, and huge agro-industrial firms. The Crop Plan 2023-2024 featured almost 307,000 operations covering 4,901 towns across the country, with a focus on finance for family farmers and medium-sized producers.
