AGROCONSULT ESTIMATES THE BRAZILIAN SOYBEAN HARVEST AT 184,7 MILLION TONS.

Agroconsult raised Brazil’s 2025/26 soybean crop estimate to 184.7 million tonnes, up 6.7% year-on-year and 0.9% above its March outlook. The revision adds 1.6 million tonnes, with gains of over 11.5 million tonnes versus the previous cycle. Planted area reached 49.1 million hectares, while average yield increased to 62.7 bags/ha. Productivity accounted for 70% of the growth. Mato Grosso leads with 51.3 million tonnes and stable yields at 66 bags/ha. Bahia posted the highest yield at 70.3 bags/ha, with output at 9.7 million tonnes. Rio Grande do Sul faces losses, with yields down to 48.3 bags/ha and output below 20 million tonnes amid drought. Weather issues also impacted Mato Grosso do Sul, Goias and Paraná, while Minas Gerais hit record yields and northern states maintained stable performance.
