AGRICULTURAL STORAGE CAPACITY REACHES 201.4 MILLION TONS

In the first half of 2023, agricultural storage capacity in Brazil rose by 4.8% from the previous half-year to 201.4 million tons. Rio Grande do Sul has the most storage facilities, with 2,214 units, while Mato Grosso stands out with 51.7 million tons. Soybeans led the way with 46.9 million tons, bringing total agricultural product stockpiles to 76.1 million tons. The number of stocks increased in all main Brazilian regions, and silo capacity increased significantly to 105.2 million tons.
