FERTILIZER DELIVERIES IN BRAZIL UP 10.7% FROM JANUARY TO JULY 2025

Fertilizer deliveries in Brazil reached 5.15 million tonnes in July 2025, up 11.7% from the previous year, according to ANDA. From January to July, total sales hit 25.29 million tonnes, a 10.7% increase compared to 2024. Mato Grosso led consumption with 22.9% of national demand (5.78 million tonnes), followed by Paraná, São Paulo, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul, and Bahia. Domestic production of intermediate fertilizers reached 646,000 tonnes in July (–4.1% year-on-year) but rose 6.6% cumulatively to 4.16 million tonnes. Imports continued to grow, totaling 22.98 million tonnes through July (+12.1%), with July alone up 19.7%. The Port of Paranaguá strengthened its leadership as Brazil’s main fertilizer entry point, handling six million tonnes (+13.7%) and representing 26.1% of national port volume.
