USDA KEEPS SOYBEAN AND CORN PRODUCTION FORECASTS UNCHANGED FOR BRAZIL IN 2024-25

The USDA kept its forecast unchanged for soybean output in Brazil for the 2024-25 season. In its monthly supply and demand report, the USDA anticipated that the crop would produce 169 million tons. The export forecast remained at 105 million tons. Brazilian corn output for 2024-25 was set at 127 million tons, with a shipment forecast of 49 million tons remaining unchanged. The Argentine soybean crop was projected to yield 51 million tons. Argentina’s corn production in 2024-25 is expected to remain constant at 51 million tons. The shipment expectation remained at 36 million tons.
