The Center-South region processed 31.11 million tons of sugarcane in late October, up 14.3% from last year, while 242 plants operated and 54 mills ended the harvest, with over 120 expected to stop by mid-November. Sugar production rose 16.4% to 2.07 million tons, though the share of cane directed to sugar fell to 46.02%. Ethanol output reached 1.90 billion liters, with corn ethanol up 8.85%. Since April, total milling hit 556.03 million tons (-1.97%), ATR averaged 138.32 kg/ton (-3.07%), sugar output reached 38.09 million tons (+1.6%) and ethanol 26.95 billion liters (-6.91%), though corn ethanol grew 16.73%. October ethanol sales totaled 3.05 billion liters, and CBio issuance reached 35.82 million, already exceeding 2025 needs.
