Sugar production in Brazil’s Center-South region will recover to between 42 million and 43.2 million tonnes in 2025/26, from 39.3 million in 2024/25, consultancy Datagro said on Tuesday, 26. At a conference of the International Sugar Organization (ISO), Datagro projected the sugarcane harvest in the Center-South of Brazil at a volume of between 590 and 620 million tons in 2025/26, compared to an estimate of 602 million in 2024/25.
