Brazil’s 2025–26 soybean harvest is predicted to reach 178.2 million tons, a 5.6% increase from the previous cycle, driven by a 2% increase in planted area and higher expected productivity, particularly in Rio Grande do Sul. Consultancy StoneX also says that shipments will hit a record high of 112 million tons, boosted by trade tensions between the U.S. and China. The second corn crop for 2024-25 was revised up by 3.2% to 111.7 million tons, reflecting strong performance in thhe Midwest and Paraná. The total corn production for the season was adjusted to 139.36 million tons.
