STONEX RAISES FORECAST FOR SUGAR PRODUCTION IN BRAZIL’S CENTER-SOUTH FOR 25/26

Consultancy StoneX increased its forecast for sugar production in Brazil’s center-south to 41.7 million tons in 2025/26, up by 200,000 tons from the previous estimate. Despite lower rainfall earlier in the year, mills are expected to maintain a high sugar mix of around 51%. However, the cane crushing estimate was revised down from 611.4 million to 608.5 million tons.
