STONEX RAISES ESTIMATES FOR THE 2025/26 SOYBEAN AND CORN CROP.

StoneX raised its estimates for Brazil’s 2025/26 grain harvest, led by soybeans, now projected at 181.6 million tonnes, up 4 million tonnes due to larger planted area and higher yields. Soybean acreage is estimated at 48.7 million hectares, with average productivity of 3.73 tonnes per hectare, despite weather-related variability in some regions. First-crop corn output was also revised up to 26.6 million tonnes, driven by productivity gains in the Northeast and Paraná, while second-crop corn edged slightly higher to 106.3 million tonnes amid regional planting adjustments. Demand projections were unchanged; higher soybean output increases ending stocks, while corn gains are offset by lower beginning stocks after strong 2024/25 exports, expected to total about 42 million tonnes.
