Brazil’s 2024/25 soybean harvest reached a record 168.25 million tons, according to StoneX, despite weather-related productivity losses, especially in Rio Grande do Sul. Final production adjustments were minor, such as reductions in Piauí due to drought. Exports are projected at 107 million tons, with 60 million for domestic use and ending stocks of 4.45 million tons. Meanwhile, corn production was revised upward, with the second harvest estimated at 106.1 million tons due to favorable conditions in the Central-West, Paraná, and São Paulo. Total corn output is expected to reach 134 million tons, including the third and a slightly lower first harvest. Domestic corn demand rose from 87 to 89 million tons, driven by ethanol production.
