According to Imea, Mato Grosso’s total soybean supply for the 2025-26 season is expected to be 48.55 million tons, which includes 47.18 million tons of output and 1.36 million tons of beginning stocks. Demand is forecast at 47.61 million tons, with an expected ending stock of 940,000 tons. The output prediction represents a 7.29% decrease from the 2024-25 season, mainly due to a drop in average yield from 66.29 to 60.45 bags per hectare, despite a slight 1.67% increase in planted area, now totaling 13.01 million hectares.
