Last week, Mato Grosso’s soybean harvest grew 16.08 percentage points to 66.16% of the total area, but it remained lower than last year’s 76.44%. The main producer, the mid-north area, harvested 83.01%, 14.37 points lower than in 2024. The harvest in the West was 70.05%, 25.57 points lower than the previous year. Off-season corn sowing, which accounted for 67.15% of the land, was hampered by the delay, compared to 80.38% in 2024. Although it is still much below last year’s 94.64%, the mid-north region leads in planting with 78.41%. Cotton planting achieved 99.93%, nearly finished, with a small delay compared to the previous cycle’s 100%.
