SOYBEAN HARVEST IN MATO GROSSO REACHES 84.66% OF THE AREA, SAYS IMEA

According to Imea’s report, the soybean harvest in Mato Grosso covered 84.66% of the total planted area for the 2023-2024 harvest. Although there was an increase of 8.21% from the previous week, it is still lower than the previous year and the average of the last five years. Currently, the mid-north region is leading the harvest with 99.18% of the work done, followed by the west with 98.02%. Corn planting has also seen progress, with 90.05% of the projected area already planted – a 9.68% increase from the previous week. It is better than the previous year and the five-year average. Furthermore, the mid-north region leads in corn planting, having planted 96.77% of the area.
