According to AgRural’s weekly crop survey, as of Thursday (31), 81% of the off-season corn area in Brazil’s Center-South had been harvested. This shows an increase from 68% the previous week but remains below last year’s 95% in the same period. With drier conditions in previously rain-affected regions and more fields ready for harvesting, farmers accelerated their work, a trend expected to continue strongly in the coming days.
