SAO PAULO PLANS TO STRETCH ITS RAILWAY NETWORK TO 890 KM

On Wednesday, the 29th, São Paulo Governor Tarcísio de Freitas will sign a deal for the Intercity Train North Axis, connecting São Paulo to Campinas. The Nos Trilhos program will be unveiled, encompassing 13 rail and subway projects totaling 890 kilometers of tracks. The proposed investment for the nine projects of the Investment Partnership Program (PPI) is BRL 130 billion, which includes three intercity trains and the subway line 22-Marrom. The program involves public and private investments and aims to meet the demand for urban mobility.
