The Port of Santos is set to join a partnership between Brazil and the internationally renowned Port of Ashdod in Israel, focusing on collaborating on projects related to the maritime world and port logistics. A letter of intent was signed on Sunday (28) during the international mission Porto & Mar Brasil – Israel 2023, organized by the A Tribuna group. Representing Brazil, the Minister of Ports and Airports, Márcio França, the general director of the National Waterway Transportation Agency (Antaq), Eduardo Nery, and the Secretary of Government of Santos, Fábio Ferraz, signed the document. From the Israeli side, the chairman of the Board of the Port of Ashdod, Shaul Schneider, and the Director of Innovation at the Port of Ashdod, Roy Avrahami, signed the letter.
