SANTA CATARINA PUMPS OVER BRL 40 MILLION INTO INITIATIVES FOR FARMERS

In August, the Santa Catarina government’s Department of Agriculture and Livestock allocated BRL 40.7 million to 2,950 programs to support farmers. The largest monthly payout of the year recognizes programs like as “Water for All,” which received BRL 15.1 million to promote water sustainability, and “Financia Leite SC,” which received BRL 12 million to assist milk production. Additionally, BRL 1.7 million was allocated to ” Jovens e Mulheres no Campo (Youth and Women in the Countryside)” and BRL 8.4 million to “Financia Agro SC” to encourage family succession.
