SALES OF HYDROUS ETHANOL INCREASE BY 43.80%

According to UNICA, ethanol sales in Brazil reached 1.39 billion liters in the first fifteen days of July, a 21.23% increase over the same period in the 2023-24 harvest. The domestic market had a 52.54% growth in hydrous ethanol sales, totaling 869.52 million liters. In contrast, sales of anhydrous ethanol declined 3.57% to 477.58 million liters. In the 2024-25 crop year, ethanol sales in the Center-South totaled 10.55 billion liters, with hydrous ethanol up 43.80% to 6.56 billion liters and anhydrous ethanol down 4.93% to 3.49 billion liters.
